What week is it?
It is ISO week 36 of 2026. See the current week number and how European (ISO 8601) week numbering works.
How ISO week numbers work
Most of Europe numbers its weeks with the ISO 8601 rule: weeks run Monday to Sunday, and week 1 is the one containing the first Thursday of the year — equivalently, the week that holds 4 January. A year has 52 or 53 such weeks. Because of this rule, the last days of December can belong to week 1 of the next year, and the first days of January can belong to the final week of the old one.
